MOSHAE BEATS

“Moshae” was born in Flint (313), Michigan in May of 1978. When he was in the 3rd grade, his mom, sister & him moved to Central Florida for a better life.  At he age of 6 “Moshae” began his journey with music. His mom purchased a beginer guitar from a Meijer's Department Store. In that same year “Moshae” was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. In those early years “Moshae” began listening to the sounds of Muddy Waters, B.B King, Robert Johnson & Jimi Hendrix. The blues guitar instantly became a part of “Moshae”.

By the age of 16 “Moshae” was already on his own & homeless. He still continued on his mission with music & still struggled with his Diabetes. Getting medicine & needles on the streets of Central Florida wasn’t easy for a young teen on his own. At the age of 19 “Moshae” lost his only parent. His mother died 40 miles from home driving in the rain. With survival & death on his mind; “Moshae” took to what he knew best; his music.

In 1999 “Moshae” started back into writing Raps again. He remembered the days playing his mom’s Korg DW-8000. So “Moshae” decided to to buy his first piece of equipment at a Orlando, Florida Mars Music store. “Moshae” bought his first Beat machine. It was a Roland MC-303. Another year later he was introduced to a new music software program called MTV Music Generator. “Moshae” was spending a lot of time perfecting his lyrics & beat production. “Moshae’s knowledge of music started to expand due to the new sharing sites that started to pop up in the early 2000′s. He started using the NEW Fruity Loops 1.0 and later on a new program called PROPELLERHEAD REASON 1.0. “Moshae” took to Audio & Music Production like he did as a kid with his guitar. He decided that college was the ticket to learn more about Audio Production. In 2002 “Moshae” was in bad health & homeless yet again. Still working on his Music; he decided to attend Orlando Technical College’s TV & FILM program to learn Audio Engineering. “Moshae” ended up losing everything he had when he was in the hospital recovering from another diabetes ailment. On his own “Moshae” tried to connect with his late mothers family in Michigan. He found the Aunt who had put that first guitar in his lap living in Seattle, Washington.

August of 2002 “Moshae’s” aunt bought a 2 way ticket to Seattle, Washington from Orlando, Florida. After arriving in Seattle, Washington “Moshae” felt stability in his life. He had his eye on Shoreline Community College’s Digital Audio Engineering-Music Technology program. Working odd jobs in the Seattle area “Moshae” started back to writing Raps & making beats while working a factory job from 4 pm to 4 am.

In 2003 “Moshae” started working on his first SOLO PRODUCER/RAP album “The Profet, The Poet, & The Street Souljah”. It featured 13 tracks and was produced in less then a month. It wasn’t as successful as “Moshae” hoped. He was new to the Northwest & wasn’t established in the NW music scene. “Moshae” knew he needed to learn more technical knowledge & have access to better equipment. He still had Shoreline Community College on his mind.

In March of 2006 “Moshae” started attending Shoreline Community College. It was the first time “Moshae” felt at home . Everyone had dreams in their eyes and music in their heart. During his time in college “Moshae” made TONS of beats & even sold a few. In 2009 “Moshae” graduated with HONORS & became a member of The Pacific Northwest Recording Academy. He has worked with International, National, & Regional Recording Artist, Producers, & Audio Engineers and has placed music on BET and VH1 TV shows.  “Moshae” now Owns & Operates an Independent Music Production  Studio in Central Florida.

“Moshae” is now a happily married “Music Producer” & Audio Enginner.
